Smith Daryl Obituary

Daryl E. Smith, 60, of Long Lake died unexpectedly Thursday March 22, 2018 at his home.

Daryl was born on May 14, 1957 in Belding the son of Claude and Geraldine Smith. In earlier years he attended Belding Area Schools and had recently worked as an installer for a satellite television company. Daryl enjoyed the simple things of life. A good cup of coffee and a smoke was a good thing for Daryl. He also enjoyed pheasant hunting.

Daryl is loved and survived by his son; Jason (Indira) Smith of Greenville, his granddaughter Taylor and three sisters; Karen, Sharon and Kathy. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Dustin and two brothers; Norman and Chuck.

Graveside funeral services will be 4:00 PM Monday, March 26, 2018 at Greene Cemetery, Johnson Road, Belding. No visitation will take place. Memorials may be given the Ionia County Literacy Council. Envelopes will be available at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted. Messages of condolence may also be given at www.jffh.com
