Sharon J Harris

Sharon J. Harris, 81, of Belding, passed away Monday evening, January 1, 2018 under the loving care of her family at Spectrum Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Sharon was born on January 22, 1936 in Belding, the daughter of Warren and Gladys (King) Gardner.

Sharon graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1954. She loved to knit, crochet, read, watch westerns, fish and enjoy family time. In earlier years she worked at Jolly Kids and Northern Village Furniture in Belding. Sharon grew up on Big Pine Island Lake in Belding. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is loved and survived by her children; Dawn (Dave) Wright of Greenville, Robert (Sandy) Harris of Lowell, Kelly (James) Nowak of Belding, Connie Campbell of Greenville and Wendy (Russ) Miller of Belding, 23 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Wayne Gardner, daughter Melanie Harris and one grandson.

Funeral service and committal prayers will be 1:00 PM Saturday January 6, 2018 at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.  Interment will be in River Ridge Cemetery, Belding. Memorial contributions may be given to Belding Library or the Belding Museum.
