Robert C Joslyn

Robert C. “Josh” Joslyn, 89, of Ionia, passed away Monday  November 11, 2019.  Robert was born on August 20, 1930 in Easton Township, Ionia to Hazen and Grace (Castle) Joslyn.

In earlier years he proudly served in the US Navy stationed at the Litchfield Naval Air Station. He later worked and retired from General Motors Corporation/Oldsmobile, Lansing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing cards.

Robert is loved by his daughter Teresa (Jim) of MA, his long-time special friend Ethel Phillips of Greenville and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Helen Salzman, brother Jack Joslyn and son David Joslyn.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday November 16, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Simmons officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Following the funeral, a luncheon will be held at the Belrockton/Belding Museum where Robert so enjoyed playing Euchre with the Monday Euchre Club. Interment will be in Easton Township Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Belding Museum.
