Ricky G. Johnston, 60, of Belding, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 18, 2019 at home. Ricky was born on September 8, 1958 in Grand Rapids, the son of Elias F. and Jean R. (Reynolds) Johnston.Ricky graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1977. Later he served his country with the US Army for four years. He was a member of the American Legion in Belding. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.Ricky is loved and survived by his children; Rick A. Johnston of Greenville, Codey L. Johnston of Belding and April K. Hurley of Lowell, grandchildren; Drew, Brenden, Ace, Korey and Gunner, mother; Jean Johnston, siblings; Chris Johnston, Teri Smit and Dave Johnston, several nieces and nephews Ricky was preceded in death by his father Elias F. Johnston and wife Bonnie Taylor-Johnston.There will be a celebration of his life at a later date. Cremation services have been entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding.
