Paul P Scheid

Paul P. Scheid, 95, of Belding, passed away Thursday morning, August 9, 2018 at Fountain View of Lowell. Paul was born on April 13, 1923 in Belding, the son of George and Lena (Brewer) Scheid.

Paul was married on May 6, 1950 to Dolores Streng, and together they enjoyed 28 years of marriage before her death in 1978. In earlier years Paul loved to golf. He was a member of St. Joseph/St. Mary Catholic Church. Paul was a 4-H leader, member of The Farm Bureau, he loved to farm, play Euchre and spend time with his family and friends. Paul will be greatly missed.

Paul is loved and survived by his children; Jim (Lorna) Scheid of Lowell, Carol (Tom) Bozung of Belding, Connie (Mike) Spry of Greenville, Lewis Scheid (Gwendolynne Fenlon) of Chapleau, Ontario, Canada, Michael (Kim) Scheid of Ada, Jane (Ed) Meyer of Rockford, Geri (Terry) Dickinson of Belding and Ron (Valeria) Scheid of Caledonia, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Dolores and sons; Leo and Greg Scheid.

Visitation will be 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday August 12, 2018 with a rosary prayed at 7:30 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Monday, August 13, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Miriam with Father Mark Bauer as celebrant. Committal prayers will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Michigan.
