Kevin John Lyons

Kevin John Lyons, 37, of Belding, passed away Tuesday morning, November 14, 2017. He was born in Grand Rapids May 7, 1980.

Kevin is loved and survived by his parents; Sandy (Tom) Treynor and John Lyons (Paula) , his sisters; Kathleen Wilson, Mikayla Treynor, Jessica (Howard) Cook, nephews; Chad Closser, Brett Wilson, Ryan Yanke, Logan and Dylan Cook, several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Harold and Maggie McCarthy, Glenn and Florence Lyons, Marian Treynor Whitford, Harry Treynor and Ted Whitford.

Kevin was a graduate of Belding High School with the Class of 1998. He was employed with Lamoreaux Home and Building Services, taking pride in his work. Kevin enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, deer hunting, softball and football with friends, and was a true Michigan fan. He was a quiet person, often answering a question with one or two words.

In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 4:00 PM followed with a memorial service at 5:00 at First Congregational Church, Belding (corner of Pearl and Washington). In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to help with funeral expenses. Envelopes will be available at the church or at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home where funeral care has been entrusted. Private interment will take place in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Parnell.

We have all lost someone that we love today. One that we wish was never taken from us this way.
