John W. Dean, 77, of Belding, went to be with his Lord on Monday May 7, 2018. John was born on July 27, 1940 in Detroit, the son of Edward and Zita (Sharpe) Dean. He had worked in the tool & die industry for many years as a journeyman. Being a talented musician, John had a life long love of music, especially gospel and country. He enjoyed hunting, golf and was always game to watch a western. John was a member of Jesus Non-Denominational Church of Greenville and loved living the life of a Christian and serving his Lord and Savior; Jesus Christ as an ordained Evangelist, sharing his testimony with everyone he met, for more than half his adult life. He had a good sense of humor and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Carol of 51 years, second wife Dorothy and his sister Sharon and brother Larry.
John is loved and survived by his wife Clara Dean whom he married on September 22, 2012 in Belding and their children; Thomas (Stephanie) Dean of Baldwin, Steven Dean of Greenville, Scott Dean of Tennessee, Edward (Kimberly) Dean of Howard City, Mary Dean of Greenville, John (Rita) Dean of Ravenna, Beth (Chris) Krogman of Greenville, James (Karyn) Dean of Howard City, Mark (Ilsa) Dean of Big Rapids, Ruth Stockton of Greenville, Mike (Melanie) Howard , April Venneman all of Belding, Glen Howard of Wisconsin, Mae Howard (Joel Ramano) of Belding, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren his siblings; Edith Little of Walker, Betty Wilson of Lowell, Robert (Sandra) Dean of Marion, Edward (Carole) Dean of Wayland, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday May 11, 2018 at Jesus Non-Denominational Church, Greenville with Pastor Tommy Turner officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 pm at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Memorials may be given to Jesus Non-Denominational Church or Langston Bible Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and at the church.
