Janet A. Allen

Janet (Anderson) Allen, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by a loving family in her home on May 11th, 2019.

Janet is survived by her Soul Mate Ronald D Allen Sr. of Belding, all her children; Diane (Phelim) Cavlan of Belding, Ronald D Allen Jr. of Belding, Laura Kennedy of Belding, Dawn Allen (Dave Cole) of Sand Lake, Jeff (Dani) Allen of Ionia, Mary (Jeff) Hopkins of Orleans, Kevin (Holli)  Allen of Belding, Wendy (Greg) Echter of Orleans, brother Michael (Dona) Anderson, as well as nieces; nephews; 17 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; relatives and friends. Janet was preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Ruth Anderson, sister Susan Lund, nephew Michael Boe and grandson Tory Hodson whom all brought great joy to her life. Janet Allen's children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of Janet's kind spirit, love for those whom she considered her additional children(you know who you are), passion for sewing, love of reading, and zest for life will live on through us all. Janet was committed to family, and her indomitable spirit encouraged her family and friends to persist in the face of many struggles. Janet Allen will be missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of Janet’s life will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Barn at Adam’s Acres, 10655 Belding Rd., Belding, MI 48809. Memorials may be given to Heartland Hospice of Grand Rapids, MI. Envelopes will be available at Adam’s Acres or at the funeral home.
