James "JD" Kinney

James D. “JD” Kinney, 81, of Belding, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at home. JD was born on July 28, 1937 in Evart, the son of Fred and Retha (Hill) Kinney.

He had retired from Electrolux in Greenville and had attended the Greenville Church of the Nazarene.  Throughout his life JD enjoyed anything to do with cars. He especially enjoyed collecting, selling and working on old cars. He was always willing to lend a helping hand especially with his tow truck. He had a good sense of humor and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Jim is loved and survived by his wife Fern and their children; Jim, Barb, Ed, Brian, John, Melva and stepdaughter Melissa, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, two sisters; Alice and Rosalie and brother; Fredrick Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Edward.

Memorial services will be noon Wednesday April 3, 2019 at the Greenville Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Tim Deshaw officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday  evening at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding and one hour before the service at church. Memorials may be given to the family. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
