Jacquelyn A. Blundon, 83, of Belding, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Spectrum Health United Memorial Hospital in Greenville. Jacquelyn was born on September 9, 1935 in Greenville, the daughter of Irvin and Berneda (VanWagoner) Kellogg.
Jacquelyn graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 1953. She was a member of New Hope Church of God in Belding. Jacquelyn enjoyed puzzles and working on crafts. She had a large collection of angels and for many years loved and enjoyed several pets. Throughout all her life Jacquelyn was a people person whether visiting with her friends at Woodhaven, friends at church and enjoying the company of her son and others at the Thursday dinners held in Belding. Jacquelyn was a faith filled woman and is now at peace with her Lord and Saviour. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Jacquelyn is loved and survived by her sons; Lawrence Cottrell of Belding, Christopher (Esther) Cottrell of Delaware, OH, two grandsons Nathan (Katie) Cottrell, Aaron Cottrell and one great grandson Isaac, sister and brother-in-law; Mary Lou (Clarence) Christiansen of Rockford, IL, brother-in-law; Robert Hansen of Belding, several nieces and nephews. Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters; Geraldine and Barbara, her husbands; Donald Blundon in 2003 and Lawrence Cottrell Sr. in 2004.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with her son Rev. Dr. Christopher Cottrell officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Interment will be in the spring at Rest Haven Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to New Hope Church of God.
