Jacob "Jake" Buskirk

Jacob  James “Jake” Buskirk, 27, of Belding, passed away Monday August 26, 2019 at home. Jake was born on April 7, 1992 in Grand Rapids, the son of James and Jan (Perrien) Buskirk.

He graduated from Belding High School with the Class of 2010.  Always loving the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding quads, snowboarding, riding BMX motorcycles, riding horses and working with animals. Jake really enjoyed the time spent  wheeling with his Jeeps. Most all he loved spending time with his family.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Jake is survived by his wife Michelle and their children; Parker J. Buskirk,  Alexandria Palos, Adrian Palos, Allan Palos, Anita Stafford, Austin Stafford, his  parents Jim and Jan Buskirk of Belding, sister Jessica (Travis) Vanden Bosh of West Olive,  grandmother Doris Dreger of Belding, his mother and father in law; Sally ( Lupe) Martinez,  several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

 A memorial service celebrating Jake’s life will be 6:00 pm Tuesday September 3, 2019 at the Greenville Church of the Nazarene, 10087 S. Greenville Road, Greenville, Mi. 48838 with Pastor Ivan Morse  officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Following the service, a luncheon will take place at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to the Family for Parker’s College Fund. Envelopes will be available at the church and Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
