Ivahdell Lake, 90, of Greenville, passed away Saturday morning November 16, 2019 at the Laurels of Carson City. Ivahdell was born on May 31, 1929 in Elsie, Michigan, the daughter of Ervin and Mary ( Harris ) Trumble.
In earlier years she attended Palo Community Schools and later retired in 1988 as a housekeeper at the Greenville Care Center. Ivahdell really enjoyed music and taught herself to play the organ and accordion. She enjoyed going to yard and rummage sales, always on the lookout for the best bargain she could find.
Ivahdell will be missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her. She is loved and survived by her children; Don (Joyce) Jeffrey of Sheridan, Dan (Rita) Jeffrey of Barryton, 25 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren 45 great-great grandchildren and her brother Ervin Trumble Jr. of Orleans. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Guy Lake; the love of her life, her daughter Diana, six siblings and two stepchildren; Robert and Shirley and survived by two step daughters; Barb Wood and Laura (Ross) Hoekstra.
Visitation will be Wednesday November 20, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Shiloh Community Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Private interment will be in Woodard Lake Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
