Gerald Johnson Jr. 66 of Perch Lake, Greenville passed away Thursday evening August 29, 2019 at home under the loving care of his family and Faith Hospice. Gerald was born on January 17, 1953 in Belding the son of Gerald and Betty ( Blount) Johnson. He attended Belding Area Schools and retired from Extruded Metals in Belding after 33 years of service. Loving the outdoors, Gerald hunted and fished as often as he could. He was a good husband, father and grandfather and worked hard his whole life. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. He was married on April 29, 1977 in Shiloh Church to Tamee Jo Treynor. Gerald is loved and survived by his wife Tamee Jo and their children; Heather Garcia of Florida, Sonja ( Andy) Chilcote of Rockford, Bret ( Jennifer) Johnson of Casnovia, Jessica ( Keith) Howard of Stanton, his grandchildren; Alex, Enya, Joshua, Hunter, Olivia, Emma, Addison, Evelyn, Meagan, Cody, his father Gerald Johnson of Belding, siblings; Vicki ( Gary) Albritton of Florida, Pam ( Mike) Burns, Peggy ( Larry) Wilson all of Greenville, Jim ( Theresa) Johnson of Belding several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother. In keeping with family wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life/Luncheon will be 1:00 PM Wednesday September 4, 2019 at the Greenville Eagles Club on M-91 between Belding and Greenville . Pastor Ken Harger will offer prayers before the luncheon. Memorials may be given to Faith Hospice. Envelopes will be available at the Eagles Club and or Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
