Edward Lee Sage

Edward L. Sage 49 of Greenville passed away unexpectedly Thursday November 28, 2019 at Spectrum Health-Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Ed was born on March 3, 1970 in Greenville, the son of John and Norma ( Williams) Sage. He graduated from Ionia High School with the Class of 1988 and later graduated from the Nashville Auto/Diesel College in Tennessee. Ed enjoyed anything that involved being outside, especially camping. He was a talented man, especially on any aspect of car engines and car repairs. He started and owned several  companies and always lived everyday to the fullest. He may have lived life on his own terms, but he was always willing to help family and friends even  on short notice. Ed will be greatly missed by all. He is loved and survived by his children; Cody Gallagher of Saranac, Brooke Sage( Kara Fullriede) of Ionia, Trisha Sage( Chelsea Chambers) of Lyons,  his fiancé Lisa Jackson of Greenville, his mother; Norma ( Randy) Thurlow,  grandmother; Pauline Williams  all of Muir and his  brother Sam ( Jodi) Sage of Lansing. Ed was preceded in death by his father John Sage and his grandfather Glenn Williams.

A time to celebrate Ed’s life will be 3:00 pm  Saturday December 7, 2019 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Joel Haugen officiating. A time to visit with his family will be from 1-3 pm before the service. Instead of flowers please consider a memorial contribution to the family to help with medical expenses.
