Claudeen J. Gay, 82 of Belding passed away Wednesday afternoon November 20, 2019 at Elizabeth’s Assisted Living under the loving care of her daughter and Emanuel Hospice. Claudeen was born on October 28, 1937 in Holly, MI, the daughter of Claude and Elizabeth (Porter) Gay.
In earlier years Claudeen worked at Metron and the Belding Hospital. She was a long time member of Belding Free Methodist Church. Claudeen enjoyed word puzzles and was a kind, loving soul, always willing to help others. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by all who knew her.
Claudeen is loved by her daughter Jane Shattuck (Dave Hagadus), two granddaughters; Autumn and Haven and one great granddaughter Delilah. Claudeen was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Jacob and Jud, grandson Gideon and son-in-law; Steve Shattuck.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Belding Free Methodist Church with Pastor Terri Hanson officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday evening November 22, 2019 at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Private Interment will be in Saranac Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Family.
