Brian K McNee

Brian K. McNee, 57, of Belding, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 13, 2019 near Fenwick. Brian was born on July 27, 1962 in Grand Rapids, the son of Richard B. and Ruthe (Straw) McNee.

He graduated from Catholic Central High School in Grand Rapids with the Class of 1980. He had a lifelong love and enjoyment of cars, especially Mopar hotrods. Brian had worked for several years as a dedicated field  inspector for AAA Insurance.  While known for having a very dry, sarcastic and quick witted sense of humor, Brian loved his family and friends and was always willing to help. He will be greatly missed by all. He was married on August 14, 1992 to Tami Jo Nipper.

Brian is loved and survived by his wife Tami and their children; Sarah Lynn (Jeremey) Moore of Sparta, Caleb (Jordan) Fifelski of Gaylord, Ian McNee of Detroit and Brianna McNee of Dearborn, grandchildren; Anika Brown, Kian McNee, Ava Stroude, Calvin Fifelski and Hadley Fifelski, sisters; Cindy (Joe) Kessenich and Carol (Kim) Kamper, sister-in-law; Shirley McNee, several nieces,  nephews and his  mother; Ruthe McNee of Irons, MI. Brian was preceded in death by his father Richard and brother Kevin.

A memorial service will be Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Johnson Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Following the memorial service, a celebration of life luncheon will follow at the Belding American Legion from 5:00-8:00 PM. Memorials may be given to the local Eagles Fraternity where he just decided to become a member.
