Beverly Ann (Hawn) Hodson, 78, of Orleans, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 19, 2018 at St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo, WI. Beverly was born on August 1, 1940 in Greenville, the daughter of Howard and Geneva (Smith) Hawn. She graduated from Sexton High School in Lansing with the Class of 1958 and later from Michigan State University with the Class of 1962. She became a registered medical technologist in 1963 and later retired after many years of service at St. Lawrence Hospital in Lansing. Beverly was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Ionia, loved family gatherings, travel, playing cards and knitting. She was married on March 18, 1978 in Ionia to Rean A. Hodson. Beverly is loved and survived by her husband Rean and their children; Reneʹ (Joel) Noe of Orleans, Debra (Larry) Bush, James (Molly) Hodson, Neal Wood all of Belding, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister-in-law Jennette Hodson of Texas and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Gayla (Craig) Noe of Belding.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sally Hawn, brother-in-law Byron Hodson and her in-laws Arthur and Esther Hodson.
In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday September 11, 2018 at Shiloh Community Church with David Noe officiating. Memorials may be given to Lutheran World Relief Fund. Envelopes will be available at the memorial service and Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
