Angela Tokarchick

Angela Tokarchick, 73, of Belding, passed away Wednesday May 22, 2019 at Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus in East Grand Rapids. Angela was born on August 23, 1945 in Crompton, England, the daughter of  Wilfred and Norma (Thompson) Shane.

As a young girl she moved to Vancouver British Columbia. In the 1960’s she came to America after marrying an America service man Martin Tokarchick. She worked several years as a nurse assistant at Metron of Belding and Metron of Forest Hills. She enjoyed bowling, playing Bonko, an occasional trip to the casino, and fishing on Lake Michigan with Roland and their friends Rod and Ronda Jones. Angela was a kindhearted, loving person and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Angela is loved and survived by her life companion Roland Street in Belding, children; Anita (Kent) Russell of British Columbia, Richard Tokarchick (Trista) of Greenville, Michelle (Brian) Rushford of Orleans, grandchildren; Bryce Russell, Cody Russell, Brittany Tokarchick (Andrew)  , Hans Rushford, Tyler Tokarchick (Madison), great grandchildren; Allie, Beau, Eden, and her  aunt Nora Shane of Canada. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, great grandparents and her first husband Martin Tokarchick.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the funeral home with Pastor Byron Davey officiating. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 PM Friday and again one hour before the service. Interment will be in Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca. Memorials may be given to the Family to help with medical expenses or a Charity of One’s Choice.
