Agnes "Aggie" L Johnston

Agnes L. " Aggie" Johnston 79 of Sheridan passed away Wednesday evening January 3, 2018 at the home of her daughter near Belding. Aggie was born on February 16, 1938 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Loren L. and Sara L. Santure McLain. In earlier years Aggie had worked at Ore-Ida in Greenville for 19 years and later in the foster grandparent program in Montcalm County working at Threshold Academy and later at Sheridan Elementary. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, tending to her plants and animals and to draw. Aggie will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Aggie is loved and survived by her children; Glenn (Linda) Johnston of Sheridan, Sara Tressa (Jerry) Robert of Belding, Celia Anita Choppson of Stanton, her grandchildren; David, Daniel, Jacob, Christa, Lonnie Jeremiah, Angelica, seven great grandchildren and her siblings; Sandra Fuller of Stanton, Fay Denton of DeWitt, Amanda Jammer of Traverse City and Calvin Bernard of Stanton.   Aggie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bert Milo Johnston, and a son Bert Lee Johnston. 

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Sunday January 7, 2018 at the Bel-Green Seventh Day Adventist Church on Baker Road, Greenville with Pastors Ryan Counsell and Monte Landis officiating. Interment will take place in the Spring in Evergreen Township Cemetery, Sheridan. No visitation will take place.  Memorials may be given to Bel-Green Seventh Day Adventist Church or To the Family. Envelopes will be available at the church or Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding where funeral care has been entrusted.
