Bernard L. “Bud” Rowley Jr, 55, of Sidney, died Saturday, January 5, 2013.
Bud was born on February 13, 1957 in Ionia, the son Bernard and Averill Rowley Sr.
Bud retired from Electrolux in 2005 after 30 years of service and was currently working at
Greenville Cinema. An avid hunter and fisherman, Bud enjoyed the outdoors, fixing things
and working on rebuilding his Harley. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Bud is preceded in death by his father, his wife; Diana Rowley, and a brother; Scott
Bud is survived by his children; Tonya and Brian VanPortfleet, and Jason and Ashley
Brown, Katrina and Jeremy Baylis, Jake and Kristin Rowley all of
Greenville, Bryan Rowley of Belding, his grand children; Rafael, Miguel, Kaden, Kaine,
Noli, Alec, Alyssa, Elicia, Travis, Brennon, Lukas, and Kayla, his mother; Averill Kitchen of
Greenville, his brothers; Kevin Rowley of Greenville, Shawn and Beth Rowley of New York,
and Shane Rowley of Greenville and well his longtime companion, Kiril Alber and her
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday January 10, 2013 at Johnson-Feuerstein
Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Private committal prayers will
be in Smyrna Cemetery.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service. Instead of flowers memorial contributions
may be given to the family.
